Source data and effective requests

  1. @vxls Create a monthly sales table with total formulas, currency formatting, and a bar chart
  2. @vxls Calculate profit margins from selected sales and costs and summarize them in a new sheet
  3. @vxls Create a regional pivot grouped by year and month with a connected pivot chart

Preview and apply AI work

  1. Choose full insertion or partial/advanced insertion from the response.
  2. Choose the current cell, below selection, replace selection, or a new sheet.
  3. Review actual sheet addresses, overwrite counts, formulas, charts, and rules in the AI work preview.
  4. Apply all tasks to commit the validated changes together. One undo reverses the entire operation.

XLSX, PDF, and recovery

  1. Download an editable workbook with XLSX Save or Ctrl/Cmd+S.
  2. PNG captures the current sheet view; PDF and print use selected ranges, used areas, or all sheets.
  3. Check VORA save confirmation; download the XLSX first if saving fails.
  4. Restore browser-stored drafts from File → Document recovery, and keep separate copies of important files.

Practical request checklist

For a stronger XLS Generation (@vxls) request, state the goal, input, scope, and output format together. Adding one more layer of constraints beyond the basic examples reduces follow-up questions and makes the result easier to use.

  • Start with the deliverable’s purpose, audience, language, and real use case.
  • Separate required source material, figures, and wording from content to exclude.
  • Set the file type, length, outline or columns, visual tone, and definition of done.

Review, save, and reuse the result

Treat the XLS Generation (@vxls) result as a draft or a snapshot taken at query time. Check the following before carrying it into the next task.

  • Confirm that titles, structure, tables, and figures follow the request and source material.
  • Before publishing, review spelling, copyright, personal data, and brand usage.
  • For revisions, name the page, paragraph, or cell and the exact change instead of regenerating everything.
