What is the Conversation Memory tool?
The Conversation Memory tool is a feature that lets you save important information you want the AI to remember during chat to your personal memory, so you can use it in later conversations.
Instead of having to re-explain the same information every time or scrolling through past conversations to find it, the AI references your saved memory to provide more personalized and continuous answers.
For example, you can use this tool to save frequently used personal settings or background information, content you have to mention repeatedly, or key summaries from the AI's responses that you want to remember. Up to 100 memory slots are available, and they remain stored until you delete them yourself.
In short, it's a tool that helps you go beyond one-off conversations by maintaining your context and enabling smarter, ongoing dialogue.
When can you use it?
The Conversation Memory tool is especially useful in these situations.
- When you have personal information or settings that you repeatedly need to tell the AI
- When you want to reuse key information or AI responses from a conversation later
- When you want to maintain important context like projects, work, or learning content for a long time
- When you want to reduce the hassle of re-entering frequently used requests or instructions every time
For example, you can naturally ask "Remember the title of the proposal I'm working on", "Save my MBTI and interests", or "Remember the meeting summary I organized last time". The AI will then use the Conversation Memory tool to save that content to your personal memory.
How to use it
This tool works in 4 different ways depending on what you need.
1. Save
@vmemory + [What you want to remember]

2. Search
Search your saved memories or check the full list.
@vmemory + [What to find, or a request for the list]
@vmemory Tell me my saved birthday info@vmemory Show me the list of memories I've saved
3. Reset
@vmemory + [Request to delete everything]
@vmemory Delete all my saved memories
4. Delete (a specific memory)
Deletes a single saved memory. To delete one, you first need to check its memory ID via "search", then specify that ID in your request.
